Veterinary Use & Directions:
Veterinary Numotizine Cataplasm is a comforting poultice which helps provide temporary relief of superficial and muscular pain, soreness and stiffness in sprains, sore shin, tendonitis, bnrises and related conditions due to overexertion or strenuous exercise. It is also effective in painful swellings - in fact, wherever there is need for massage and a comforting, counterirritant application. Applied as a poultice, Numotizine helps retain the body's own warmth in the area under treatment. The Cataplasm medicated with guaiacol, beechwood creosote and methyl salicylate for comforting warmth.
Directions: After first rubbing in a small quantity of Numotizine Cataplasm to insure contact with the skin, apply 1/4" thick. Cover with suitable bandaging. Numotizine Cataplasm may be spread directly on the skin and then bandaged, or spread on the cloth first and then applied with the poultice in contact with the skin. The application may be left on 8 to 12 hours before removing and replacing with a new application if desired. Numotizine does not have to be heated, but will act best when warmed to body temperature, especially if it has been stored in a cold place. Numotizine does not deteriorate if kept sealed.
Caution: Use only as directed. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to large areas of the body. Not recommended for use on cats. Discontinue use if excessive irritation of the skin develops.

Human Use & Directions:
Numotizine Cataplasm relieves discomfort caused by chest colds, asthma, congestion, sore throat, soreness of the muscle, sprains, skin irritation, insect bites and similar conditions. It does not deteriorate if kept sealed. Long shelf life if kept at room temperature. Advantages of Numotizine are it provides sustained comfort, permitting uninterrupted rest for a prolonged period. No risk of side effects. Does not have to be massaged or rubbed in. The Cataplasm medicated with guaiacol, beechwood creosote and methyl salicylate for comforting warmth.
Directions: It may be spread on a cloth 1/8" to 1/4" thick and placed on the affected area and bandaged, or may be applied directly to the skin. Numotizine does not have to be heated, but in some ailments better relief is obtained when the application is warmed. Remove before it becomes totally dry (usually 8 to 12 hours). Repeat application as desired.
Caution: Use only as directed. Do not apply to irritated or broken skin or to large areas of the body. Discontinue use if excessive irritation of the skin develops. Avoid getting into eyes or mucous membranes. In all cases of excessive temperatures or persistent swellings, consult your physician.
